Rockets of Awesome is a curated quarterly apparel subscription box for kids and babies. Parents fill out a âstyle quizâ when signing up, and the Rockets of Awesome robots and unicorns fill their kidsâ boxes with apparel that they know theyâre going to love.
Project overview
Rockets of Awesome wanted to move to Shopify Plus but were handcuffed by their homegrown, complex web platform that was built over a ten-year span.
We migrated the brand to Shopify Plus and partnered with Awtomic to create an easily editable subscription bundle feature.

We reimagined their curation algorithm and legacy box sorting system, eliminating development dependencies and putting total control into the hands of the merchandising team.
We built a custom quiz builder and box curator app that integrates with Shopify, Awtomic, and their 3PL Pitney Bowes.
